The following items cover the most common documents needed to confirm the information on your loan application.
Because of our Automated Underwriting, not all of these documents will be required, but you should know where to get a copy of any of the items listed below. Your Loan Officer will give you an accurate list of the items
required for your individual loan.
- Residence addresses for the past two years with landlord's contact information
- Names and addresses of each employer for you and spouse for the last two years
- Current pay stubs for the last 30 days
- Names, account numbers, and balances for all checking, savings, money market, 401K and investment accounts with copies of the last two most recent statements (all pages)
- Addresses and loan information on all real estate owned
- Estimated value of all personal property (autos, furniture, etc)
- Tax W-2 forms for the last two years. Signed federal tax returns required if you are self employed or if your commission/bonus income is over 25% of salary.
- Bankruptcy papers with discharge, if applicable (all pages)
- Divorce decree, if applicable (all pages)
- Gift letter (if part of your down payment is a gift from a relative or friend)
- For FHA loans, proof of social Security numbers is required
- For VA loans, your Certificate of Eligibility and DD214s are required
- Money for your credit report and the appraisal of the property, if applicable
- Contact information for your insurance agent who handles your Homeowner's policy
